Hello all.
Well, hasn't it been ages since a proper newsletter! For most of you at least. I must admit to have been very busy over Christmas and New Year, or the holiday period as many prefer to call it. It's up to you, but to me it is Christmas and New Year.
There is no specific reason for my neglect, other than that I have to give most of my attention to the websites I have which actually make me money. In spite of providing the least expensive commercial quiz service on the internet it loses me lots of money. I do it as a hobby really.
However, I should not ignore you all. You will find the normal 20 question quiz below, but first I have a another special offer for you. My last special offer did not get many takers. The average price for a 10 question round on the internet is around £1, or $1.70. I offered everyone who gets this newsletter quiz questions at an equivalent price of 12p (20c) for 10 questions yet only 5 people were interested.
Perhaps I am giving you too much free. Normally I give a few free quizzes when my emails are a bit late, but this time you will have to buy something to get the freebies. But they will be worth getting.
Here is your free 20 question quiz. General knowledge this week. It has to be downloaded since I want to show you what you get when buy one of my quizzes. This is of 20 questions, and is formatted the same way as all of my new quizzes. The first sheet, without answers, lets you try the quiz yourself without have the answer underneath each question. The second sheet gives both together - I find that ever competitor, with no exceptions, like the question repeated when the answer is given. This format makes it easy to do this, while still allowing anyone to try the questions themselves.
The answers sheets are not included, but you can these free from my website supplies page. When you purchase a quiz, the answer sheet is provided for you to print as many copies as you need, or just the one for photocopying.
Another service I supply, which most of my competitors do not, is to offer you the option of Word Doc or PDF format. If you do not, or cannot, use MS Word (e.g. MAC users), you can use PDF. Acrobat PDF reader can also be downloaded from my pro-quiz.com Supplies page.

Now, back to my offer. I am currently advertising a quiz for Valentine's Day on Google and on my website. The advertised price is under £3.75 ($6.30). I am offering it to my membership for $4.25 This is around £2.50.
Have a look at other quiz sites for fully formatted St. Valentine's Day quiz questions. You will be lucky to find what I offer at all, let alone for under £6.50. Any free stuff you get will mean a lot of work for you to sort out truth from fiction, right from wrong, and to put it into a usable format. I have done it all for you. You get 140 questions in rounds of 10 (except a 20 question table round and a Wipeout round with 20 options).
If you want to see what you get for the small amount of money you are being asked for such a great offer, click here. |

The online quiz will be updated shortly and I will starting a new cash competition. I love my cash competitions since I have never had to pay anything out yet! The winners and runners up never send me their addresses (or PayPal email addresses if they are members) to let me pay them! I have stated on these newsletters, and on the website, that I need this information, but no one responds.
If future winners do not want to give their home addresses they can do one of several things:
1. Give another postal address, such as a works or a friends address. 2. Give their bank details (no more than what is on any check they send out) so I can pay them online. 3. Give their details of any payment portal they belong to such as PayPal, Stormpay, Nochex etc. 4. Give a P.O box number. 5. If they don't have a bank account, I can still send cash via registered mail to their own or any other nominated address.
The final option is not to enter!
The new cash competition will commence during February, once I have updated the questions and get the system up and running again. Prizes, as usual, will be £20, 2 x £10 plus other prizes such as copies of my ebook, Quiz Secrets Revealed. CLICK HERE for details of this book. |

There's not much more this time, and I promise, as I have done many times previously, to send you the newsletters more frequently in future! I am writing this from Boston (Massachusetts, not Lincolnshire) where I have been sent on business this week, and have one or two 'funnies' to send you by popular request.
However, these are my desk PC, not my laptop, so you will be receiving your next newsletter sometime within the next week or so! I know - I can hear you say it. They are like busses. You wait ages for one, then lots come all together!. Ah well. That's life.
Try the St. Valentine's Day quiz if you have a need for it. I have searched the internet, and can't find anything as comprehensive, nor anything so inexpensive. I won't say 'cheap' because that word means different things to different people, and is is certainly not 'cheap' in the way some may use the word.
It is a good quiz, suitable for all ages, and you can leave out rounds that don't suit you because with 140 questions ( counting the 20 'Wipeout' options as questions) you have more than enough to play with. You can figure on 1 minute per question for verbal questions, and 15 minutes per table round.
Finally, in this short newsletter, as an inducement, anyone who buys the St. Valentine's Day Quiz will get, in addition to the free quiz offered on the advert page, two free 100 question quizzes, formatted and ready to ask. Only my existing readers are open to this offer as both a thank you for registering and as an apology for the length of time since the last newsletter.
Please email me if you have any problems. pete@pro-quiz.com |
